Cancer Central Soundbites Case Study

Project Overview:

Cancer Central wanted to release a new feature allowing users to share their stories as Soundbites.

The aim was to provide an easier and more engaging way for users to share their experiences

and connect with others who have gone through similar situations.

Discovery Workshop:

We conducted a discovery workshop to understand the user's needs and gather requirements for the homepage redesign.

for the new feature. The workshop helped us to identify the challenges and limitations that would impact the development of the MVP.

Team Workshops:

Based on the information gathered in the discovery workshop, we organized a series of team workshops to

brainstorm challenges and research solutions.

During these workshops, we also ideated and created user journey flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

Technical Constraints:

We had to carefully consider the technical constraints of the MVP, such as data storage, privacy, and accessibility, to ensure that the

end-product met the users' needs and requirements

User Journey Flows:

We created user journey flows diagrams to

visualise the user's experience and identify pain points.

This helped us to optimize the user experience and provide a seamless flow for users to access the chatbot.

Wireframes and Final UIs:

Based on the user journey flows, we developed wireframes and prototypes to validate the solution and make any necessary changes. The final UIs were designed with the user in mind,

ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

Outcome:

The new feature provided an

engaging and empowering way for users to share their stories

and connect with others. The project demonstrates our ability to understand user needs and develop effective solutions that meet their requirements.
